The Media and Parental Alienation Syndrome

The media like to throw out statistics such as the fact that over 40% of children are raised in single parent homes. This is a good example of how the term “drive-by media” has come about: context is almost never given to that particular statistic.
In the link below one will see a link to a 35 minute video of a case in Michigan in which a local TV station was taken in by a parent playing the role of victim. The presiding female judge in this case, Judge Gorcyca, was able to cut through the media fog and show the true victims, the children, in the context of P.A.S., parental alienation syndrome:
